C and I have been together for a year now and we've decided to get married a week after Thanksgiving. I can't believe that I'm finally doing this after 20 some odd years of being single. And I thought I would be a bachelor for the rest of my life!!! Talk to you soon!

I met A about a year ago and even though we didn't date much we became very good friends. Well, as you know, we started dating about a month ago and I just gave her a diamond ring. Hope this lasts forever.
If it weren't for Starting Over Singles we would have never gotten to know each other.
I haven't seen you lately because the Southern Gentleman I met asked me to marry him. I can't believe it. After going through so many frogs I finally got the Prince!!!

Even though we only talked for a few minutes that evening, we both knew we wanted to see each other again. The following weekend we met at the bowling event and started dating soon after. The date was June 4, 2005....there was a bowling event at Herrill Lanes...there was a small group of people that night. It had been a few weeks since I saw you, C, and the others. I was just looking forward to a fun night of bowling...I really wasn't especting to meet anyone.... KABOOM!!!!!! There was a guy (Jim) who also came that night to bowl. He was not a member of SOS...he heard about SOS on the internet. After bowling, most of the group went to a diner to eat...afterwoards, when everyone went to their cars to go home, Jim and I stayed inthe parking lot and we talked and talked. He gave me his phone number and I called him the next week. WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER EVER SINCE!!!!!!!!
It's almost a year and a half and it has been FABULOUS! Here I am...60 years old...and I have a boyfriend...it is so-o-o-o-o much fun. In the time we've known each other, we've never had a fight or an argument...the relationship is incredibly easy and comfortable. We've gone to Mexico, Aruba and in two weeks we're off to Panama. Life is one great big adventure and the two of us are enjoying it very much! Thank you for SOS...I never would have met Jim if it hadn't been for you.
